...And any such methods which may harm natural ecosystems and human health – while still optimising food production to maintain or increase yields.

For example:

Through our combination of award winning animal husbandry and state of the art systems at Grosvenor Farms, mastitis cases (an inflammation of the breast or udder tissue in cattle) on our farms have fallen from 35% to 6% (far below the industry average of 55%) and metritis (an inflammation of the wall of the uterus) from 9% to 2%. This, combined with our other sustainable practices, has resulted in a 60% reduction in antibiotic use – treble DEFRA’s 19% target by 2018.
