How can fresh berries transported from South America be safer, fresher and tastier than locally sourced produce?

Working with Purfresh, we are enabling consumers to enjoy nutritious and high quality fresh fruits from all over the world all year round, while also reducing losses for food producers, exporters and importers.

Through controlled atmosphere and ozone technology systems applied to shipping containers, we reduce food waste by delaying ripening. reducing decay and extending the shelf life, of high value fruits such as blueberries, avocados and mangos. As well as retaining the quality of fresh produce, we also improve its safety by eliminating pathogens, including coronavirus, and the use of harsh chemicals, such as pesticides.

Purfresh’s integrated cloud-based cargo monitoring software, Intellipur®, provides customers with real-time data and control over the conditions which temperature-sensitive cargos are shipped in and improving the traceability of foods for consumers.
